Welcome to Unimaginable.life

Hello, my name is Alexander Lockwood, born in San Francisco in 1983, to a foggy overcast morning, as it goes; maybe that's where I get my emotional sensitivities. You may call me Alex.

My purpose here is, most simply put, Love. I am here to elevate individual and collective consciousness through sharing ideas and writing stories. I would like to transmit the love in my heart. For the healing of pain, the easing of the burdens Can ideas heal the world? I feel grateful and humbled to have such blessings allowing me get here here now; to be able to explore in this way

A few posts I have a mind to write, to give you a taste:

  • Can an idea save a life? Save the planet?
  • The religion of unbelief: a clear and simple approach to spirituality.
  • Mathematics inspiring life.
  • Dreaming a book to come: 1+1 = trust the universe

My intention is to channel the content, see what arises as the time comes, so it is a mystery, and I'm excited to see how it may unfold.

Who are you and why are you here?
I love you.

An introduction to my philosophy.

"The Peoté asks us, in a loving way, 'Who are you and why are you here?'" says a thin older man whose words cut through the silence with truth so smoothly there is no doubting the importance for me. I'm left thinking, how is this true, how is this helpful? Flash forward months later, I am feeling over stimulated post ceremony, feasting in a pot luck, all the things happening. It's so much to take in, all this life. Pause. The moment stands still, and these words slide into place with a "click!" and my nervous system calms; my breathing slows and deepens; I feel myself become present. "I am here to eat food, be at peace, help clean, and go home". Noticing this truth brought clarity and mindfulness to my thoughts, and my actions. "Who are you and why are you here?" A helpful guiding question. In my own reality, feeling the medicine radiate in my heart, I noticed it was telling me something more to. I love you.

More Light, more Life, more Love for me, and for everyone around me please.

Grief and my prayer, how I came to be dedicated on this path, in breif.

In 2018 the love of my life, Emma Lynn Lenke, passed away in a tragic cascade of events. Upon receiving the news, time stopped. In that moment any semblance of ego was obliterated, my world instantly faded into a peaceful whiteout. I said to myself, "Well, now I am with you forever babe". Stunned, I had no idea who I was or how life could continue.

I begin to discover who I am by falling apart.

Talking to my therapist in grief, I stumbled across a helpful key: "What do you do when beautiful flowers fade and wilt? Plant more flowers, allow more to grow!" My life's dedication was set. The prayer that came to me:

"More light, more life, more love for me and everyone around me, please!"

Since I first met that amazing woman, my life felt truly unimaginable. And it is teaching me, still to this day, how to open up to an unimaginably wonderful life. Yes please, and thank you.

Stepping forward into this new life

Who I am and where I came from

Six months ago I left my day job, managing a team of brilliant software engineers at One Medical, with the thought of writing a book, and pursuing creative outlets. It became clear that first I was in need of a deep emotional cleansing from nearly 13 years straight working in the software industry with out much of a break. Learning to be kind to myself. Had I really never focused on myself, my personal growth, optimizing my life for happiness? How, had I put this off for so long?

And so here I am, writing this initial post. About to head back to a plant medicine retreat with the same group that precipitated this book-writing intention 6 months ago. I feel like a different human. I couldn't be more grateful. I can't wait to share more, and I pray it may come in a good way for you my dear reader!

May you find what you seek.
